to me the structure of aftg is so interesting

in the last book the climax of the series is in the midde of the book. like i know you could argue that beating the ravens is the climax, and it is, but THE BIGGEST CLIMAX of the books is undoubtedly neils past catching up to him

but. it doesn’t end the story. life goes on, there is recovery, finding your footing when, suddenly, maybe you get to have it all. neil might actually get to live

and the second half of the book is just recovery. and then the iconic game

i don’t know where this was going but the point is, i once saw a review of aftg and it was complaining about this. but i dont see it as a flaw, i think it suits the books theme and i juft really really love it okay
