from Anonymous: rock band au!

so i know @reneewvlkers is currently writing one of these (link here) but i’ll do my own take (basically it’s a garageband hs au)

so kevin was in a band with his “cousin” riko and they were called the ravens and it was cool becuase he loved playing with them and they would jam out and do random gigs sometimes
but then riko get jealous and blah blah kevin can’t play guitar anymore (lefty at least) so he goes and recruits the cousins (his next door neighbors) to help out
they’re okay but he needs more oomf and power so he gets the upperclassmen (the first chairs in marchingband) to come and play with them as well but they’re still not good
then neil comes along and somehow they rope him in and the band is Complete and amazing and sounds BA even though they have a hard time working together
anyway the final blowout is a shitty battle of the bands and the foxes win and the ravens lose and riko gets pissed and smashes all his own equipment before his older brother grounds him and he can’t be in a badn anymore
