from Anonymous: but is coral the smartest rock or the dumbest plant?? u have me intrigued and now i need answerslol! coral is technically an animal! what you would consider 1 coral is actually made up of a bunch of small things called polyps which are the animals themselves. a bunch of polyps come together to form a colony! and then a bunch of colonies form a reef. this is only for hard coral tho, soft coral is slightly different. but it is an animal!
